The Training & Placement Cell of the Al Azhar College grooms and guides the students in their search for a good career. The Placement Cell of AATC has succeeded in attracting some of the top corporates to the college campus for talent. The Training & Placement Cell is equipped with all the required facilities for the recruitment process such as seminar halls, video conferencing facilities, interview rooms and Computers with Internet facilities to conduct best recruitments for selecting good quality engineers for positions. The Cell functions with the primary motive of achieving 100% placement of students in top-notch companies even before they have completed their programs

Additional Skill Acquisition Programme

Add-on courses play a vital role in equipping students to face the emerging challenges in the job market. So to mould the students with employable skills, AL-AZHAR in connection with ASAP, Govt. of Kerala organizes various add-on courses in the institution.

Additional Skill Acquisition Programme is an initiative of the Government of Kerala to impart skill training to the Higher Secondary and Undergraduate students of the state. The major aim of the programme is to empower the young community of the state through skill training.

Arts Fests

College fests and activities provide opportunities to interact with your peers and form new connections. While organizing any event, students stumble upon new people and build their network. Most of these activities are group-oriented due to which students get to know about people from different cultural backgrounds and interests. These healthy interactions not only enhance interpersonal and communication skills of students but also prepare them for the real world.

BINOCS

BINOCS 2020 was a national webinar festival held by Al-Azhar Training College aimed to ensure the confluence of art, culture, literature, science and Psychology. The webinar was endowed with 18 renowned speakers across our nation including but not limited to Tiffany Brar, Dr Nanditha Krishna, Dr Amrit Sen etc. The program saw a turn over of 1500+ participants from 18 states who represented more than 400 colleges.

Al-Azhar Festival

Al-Azhar Festival is a venue to celebrate as well as experience the best of arts, science and culture. The festival is an amalgamation of fun, exhibition of talents as well as giving back to the community. Each fest is built to be a memorable occasion. With the festival being open to the public, it’s also a platform for all of Thodupuzha to come together, connect and experience the wonders our student community has to offer.

Sports Facilities

Physical Education and Sports is one of the important yardsticks and also an integral part of education. Education acts as well as the provision of resources for the nation and in the construction of evaluation systems in education developments and it promotes the development of physical education in a country. Physical Education is the only profession where you talk as well as play / perform. Physical Education thus consists in promoting a systematic all-round development of the human body by scientific technique and thereby maintaining extraordinary Physical Fitness to achieve one’s cherished goals in life.

The college has its own set of transportation system allowing day scholars to comfortably reach the college from Muvattupuzha, Kothamangalam, Perumbavoor, Aluva, Ernakulam, Thiruvankulam, Erattupetta, Kanjirappilly, Vannapuram, Udumbannoor etc

Recreational facilities, Gymnasium, etc.

Gymnasium hall, Reading room, indoor games such as Shuttle, Carom, Chess, are available in the activity block. TV facility is available in the hostels.

Hostels

The institution has hostels for girls and boys within the campus

Food items are prepared and served hygienically. The hostel is facilitated with Wi-Fi facility, indoor games, gym etc. 24 x 7 ambulance service is available for the needy apart from a dispensary which functions during the evening. In addition, other facilities work mentioned includes treated hygienic water, stationeries, Power backup etc. Residential wardens are allotted with individual rooms in the respective hostels

Women Cell

The Women Cell has both the faculty and students of the College as its members and works with an aim to promote equality and creating a gender sensitized community within the campus as well as in the society.

Anti-Ragging Cell

Ragging is strictly prohibited in this institution as per Government order. Names of those indulging in ragging will be instantly removed from the roll and further action will be taken as per Government Order. An anti-ragging committee has been constituted to curb the menace of ragging. This committee monitors and preserves a culture of ragging free environment in the college premises.

Student Counsellor

As students join college at a crucial age, we understand that alongside a vibrant campus atmosphere, they might also require equally strong mental support. Our in-house counselor is always a phone call / visit away for anytime they need someone to talk to

Grievance Redressal Cell

The Grievance Redressal Cell aims to look into the complaints lodged by any student and redress it as per requirement. The students can state their grievance regarding any academic and non- academic matter within the campus through the cell.
